Now get all suburban railway tickets in your mobile.

Paperless ticket

You can now easily book suburban train tickets from your home and office through UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System).

You don’t need to stand in a long queue for booking the tickets nor you have to search for stations through booking from smart card.

Just book the ticket from your smart phone,no matter where you are?

You can book the ticket of any nearest station within the range of 2 km around you,but you can only book the ticket from atleast 30 meters away from the railway track.

As this whole system based on GPS ( Global positioning systems),your phone must be GPS enabled and you should be in range of wi-fi or a good data connectivity.

The very next question comes in your mind is that while traveling in the train some times there is no network available,so how to show tickets to the ticket checker?

Answer to this is that you can always show him your paperless ticket from your mobile without having the net connection.

You can use SHOW TICKET option in offline mode also.

It is always advisable to show the ticket to TC in offline mode only though you are getting full network, because showing tickets in offline mode is very easy and quick than in online mode.

For getting started you need to be registered on http://www.utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in website, and need to recharge the R-WALLET for booking the ticket from your debit or credit card. You can also recharge the wallet from UTS APP which is available for Android and Windows user.
