Step into the world of virtual reality…
Get the experience of amazing virtual world with a virtual eyes.
Most of us have already heard of virtual reality from people who fantasize it as being the next thing of the future.
What is so important about virtual reality?
Well,we people have always wondered whether how cool it would be to escape into our own world with unlimited liberties.
We could go wherever we want, be it in space experiencing zero gravity or dive deep till the ocean floor.
Virtual reality paves way for such fantasies which definitely is not possible in the world we live in (as of our limited resource of today’s time).
So what virtual reality does is provide a high end immerse experience which is next to reality but computer generated.
So we enter into a computer generated world to experience things we never could.
what virtual reality does is provide a high end immerse experience which is next to reality but computer generated.
Most of us would have thought, atleast once to have a first hand experience in the gaming world; The sword fighting with all its hacking and slashing, the first person shooters, the hand to hand combat series.
Taking account of such demands, many tech companies are coming up with virtual reality devices.
There are certain inexpensive devices already available (like the google cardboard and other plastic competitors) which rather give a 3D experience than give a full fledged virtual reality experience.
There are these tech giants coming up with devices with higher rendering capabilities along with providing the control of the virtual environment to the user (though they come with a good price tag).
There is a good amount of buzz these days around such devices; the Oculus rift, HTC Vive,Sony playstation VR, Samsung gear VR,Microsoft Hololens.
THE NEGATIVE SIDE
Samsung and Oculus urge adults to take at least 10-minute breaks every half-hour, and they warn against driving, riding a bike or operating machinery if the user feels odd after a session.
Virtual reality is essentially a reality in itself. Therefore it can have negative psychological effects.
Using it in excess may change our behaviour and thinking (sort of like inception).
Moreover the experience can cause nausea, eyestrain and headaches.
Headset makers don’t recommend their devices for children. Samsung and Oculus urge adults to take at least 10-minute breaks every half-hour, and they warn against driving, riding a bike or operating machinery if the user feels odd after a session.
So despite the feel provided by virtual reality we cannot neglect the it’s negative aspects. We need to be very careful.
At the same time we need to be aware that it is just an experience and will not alter our life in any possible manner.
